About the brand

You're good at
carrying things.

Work, people, the plans, the pace. You manage all of it, and most days you manage it well.

But somewhere underneath, the body has been asking for a slower gear. A nervous system that's been running in overdrive long enough that it's forgotten how to come down. You feel it in your energy, your sleep, the way it's hard to switch off even when there's finally a moment to.

That's not something you fix by trying harder. The body comes first.

A movement practice.
Based in Amsterdam.

The premise

The body comes first.

Your body already knows how to regulate itself. It just needs the right conditions, and someone who speaks its language.

Around eighty percent of your nervous system is regulated bottom-up. Your body talks to your brain far more than your brain talks back. So when everything feels like too much, the way through is physical first. Calm the body, and the mind follows.

That's what Cultivaete works with. We get the body on your side, and from that calmer, clearer place, the rest opens up. Including the part most movement never touches: what you actually want your life to look like.

The four layers
01 breathe Read+
breathe

Breath runs through the whole class, the way in, the reset between movements, and the way down at the end. The constant you keep coming back to.

02 move Read+
move

Pilates-informed sculpt, layered with breath and coaching throughout. A real workout, the body moves the energy before it can let any of it go.

03 regulate Read+
regulate

Mid-practice the room slows and you learn one nervous-system tool. A way back to calm you can take into everyday life, any time you need it.

04 cultivaete Read+
cultivaete

Every class closes softly, with journaling and visualization. A few quiet minutes to name what you're cultivaeting, it stays with you long after.

The practice, in three

01 What we believe

When the body settles, the noise of overthinking drops and the things you want come back into focus. Women leave more connected to what they're building. That's the quiet engine behind every class.

02 Who it's for

Women who do a lot and want to do it from a calmer place. Who want a workout and something deeper in the same hour. You leave lighter than you came in, more yourself.

03 Where it's going

Today, two classes in Amsterdam: The Hour and The Long Morning. Retreats launch this year, with workshops and a growing community of women alongside them.

The name

From cultivare (to tend) and the Latin aete (nourishing).

The brand is built on the idea of tending something carefully over time. Conditions, not quick fixes.
